I have taken over the maintenance of the website for the Northern California
Nevada Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (NCN SFPE). The
account was originally on the previous webmaster's personal AOL account. In order
to maintain continuity & increase visibility of the website, a custom
domain name was established. This also allows flexibility in assigning
additional users who may wish to help maintain the account and also will help
during the transition to a new webmaster in years to come.

D.C. State Center for Health Statistics

Created & designed the website for the D.C. State Center for Health
Statistics. This is a D.C. Government Agency that is responsible for providing
Birth & Death certificates to the residents of the District of Columbia.
Initially the website was created & maintained by myself on the main
website for the D.C. government. During that time, based on site statistics
generated it was the most visited site on the entire D.C. Government website.
The purpose of the original website was to establish a presence on the Internet
therefore it had a relatively simple design. As time progressed it was
determined that the agency along with all of it's related agencies should establish one uniform
presence on the web. An outside consulting company was hired and this led to
the creation of:

I participated along with heads of the other agencies to help with the initial
content and design for the website. Although the agency is a government entity,
I suggested using dchealth.com for their domain name. This enabled users to
easily identify and remember the website.
MD SFPE - University of MD Student Chapter

Created and established a website for the University of Maryland Student
Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. The website was used to
announce the activities and meetings presented by the chapter for the student
body. It was also used to act as a central location for listing resumes for the
fire protection engineering students.

ASCR is a non-profit organization that represents it's
member companies with information and services relevant to their industry. I
was hired to help create mini-websites for those member companies that wanted
to have a presence on the internet, but did not want to go through the entire
process of establishing a full blown website. I was responsible for scanning in
letterhead, logos & images and then creating the websites from the
information provided by the companies. I also took advantage of keywords &
search engine placements in order to help increase the visibility of these
mini-sites.
